Terms and Conditions
Practitioner Agreement
- We agree to keep your personal information strictly private and confidential in relation todata protection laws. With your consent, we will only share this information with those involved in your preconception, pregnancy, postnatalor women’s wellness journey.
- We may need to request a letter of ‘medical clearance’ from your GP or midwife for certain treatments, classes, workshops and courses if your health, the health of your unborn baby or newborn baby, could be at risk. All clients have the right to share any medical information from a GP, midwife or consultant and this may delay/stop your treatment if this is refused. Refunds will not be given if you refuse to provide this information, if requested,for your health and safety.
- Please note that your GP may charge for this, if they do, this is your responsibility.
- We agree to use our skills and knowledge to offer you a tailored treatment, class, workshopor course that will help you with the varying needs within your preconception, pregnancy, postnatal or women’s wellness journey.
- We agree to offer you support as needed during your sessions with us and will continue to offer support following this where possible.
- We reserve the right to cancel, stop or remove you from sessions should we feel this is inyour best interest or the interest of others within our facility.
- We may, from time to time, have to move or change classes, workshops or courses, but as much notice will be given as reasonably possible
Client’s Agreement
- To fully disclose any injuries, health issues or current medications within The PregnancyEmporium’s pre-screening forms and to the practitioners before commencing any treatment, class, workshop or course.
- To understand that the therapist, practitioner, doula or fitness professional is working to support you and has your best interests at heart and may need to stop a treatment, class, workshop or course if your health is at risk. This will be explained to you and advice given as to the next step you may need to take.
- To cease treatment, classes, exercise immediately if you begin to feel unwell. Please report this to your therapist, practitioner, doula immediately.
- To understand that by participating in any treatment,class, workshop or exercise programme you agree to give honest and accurate information and that failure to do this could put you, your unborn baby, or newborn baby atrisk
- To have read and understood all terms and conditions at the time of booking and prior to any treatment, class, course or workshop being completed.
Booking and Cancellation Policy
- All treatments and classes must be paid for on booking.
- Bookings for clinic treatment are subject to availability.
- Bookings for classes are subject to availability.
- To cancel any treatment you must provide a minimum notice period of 48 hours.
- If no notice has been given for cancelling a session this will be classed as a no show and you will not be refunded for this appointment.
- Any sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will not be rescheduled and will notbe refunded.
- The practitioner has the right to use discretion where they feel this is right, but is not obliged to do so if a cancellation is less than 48hours prior to the treatment, class,workshop or course starting.
- Notice to change the start of a class, workshop or course must be given the relevant notice of 1 week prior to the start date and will only behonoured if a space is available on the next course.
- If you miss a class, this will not be compensated with other classes.
- In the unfortunate event of a sensitive circumstance occurring, serious illness or seriousinjury consideration will be taken at the discretion of the practitioners.
- The practitioners reserve the right to rearrange or cancel a session if needed, however will only do so if completely necessary and will give as much notice as possible. These sessions will be re-scheduled.
- The practitioners reserve the right to terminate any contract at their discretion if needed, full information will be given and an explanation provided.
Covid-19 Policy
- Clinic will be reopening on Monday 12th April 2021,for treatments and a select few group courses
- Classes will resume as per government guidance and the roadmap out of lockdown. If this guidance changes and we are forced to close again,all classes will go online to comply with government guidance. In the event of this happening,you will have the option to go into an online class or have your space held until we are allowed to reopen.
- Full and additional screening must take place on booking. This must be done truthfully and honestly for the safety of yourself and others
- On entry to the clinic, all clients will be asked to wash and sanitise their hands prior to their therapy, class or workshop, and before leaving the clinic. Temperature checks will be completed on entry to the clinic.
- Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before your appointmenttime is due. Entry to the clinic will not be allowed any earlier than this dueto cleaning and set up from the previous client.
- We kindly ask that masks are worn in clinic as per government requirements, these will be provided if you do not have your own. There will be no additional charge for this.
- Treatments at the moment cannot exceed one hour, a 30 minute gap between each appointment will be in place to allow a thorough cleaning of the treatment room, studio, toilet and reception.
- Payment will be taken on booking and all appointments will be booked online. No cash or card payments will be taken in clinic at the moment to reduce contact time.
- All screening will be completed online, prior to your appointment and to ensure it is safe to carry out your session.
- You must come to your therapy appointment alone, family members, children and babies will not be allowed to accompany you at this moment in time.
- For parent and baby classes, it is only one parentand one baby who will be allowed to attend classes. Other parents, family members or children will not be allowed to attend at this moment in time due to number restrictions.
- Any parents attending with twins, one parent and twin babies may attend, but if another parent or family member wishes to attend, two separate spaces must be booked, due tonumber restrictions currently in place.
- We kindly ask that you bring minimal with you to yourappointment, a basket will beprovided to put your things in during your treatment.
- For classes- we kindly ask that you bring minimal with you so studio space is kept clear.
- Clear guidance will be given on the new procedures and clinic requirements to keep you and others safe.
- Refusal to follow the guidance given, may result in the refusal of your treatment.
Late arrival Policy
- If the client is late for any treatment, class, workshop or session, the time will not be extended and will finish at the set time.
- If the practitioner is late the session will be extended and we will ensure you have everything you need from your booked appointment
Payment Policy
- All treatments must be paid for at the time of booking, using our online booking system.
- All classes, workshops and courses must be paid forat the time of booking, via our online booking system and cleared before the first session begins.
- For some treatments, classes, workshops and coursesa payment plan may be accepted,this will be clearly discussed with you and an agreement made. The Pregnancy Emporium reserves the right to change, amend or stop theseif they need to or the agreement has been broken from non-payment.
- Each block of classes will run for a set number of sessions or weeks. Classes will not be refunded or added onto the end of a block, for sessions missed by the client. If any additional sessions are agreed, this will be at the discretion of the practitioners and will not be guaranteed.
- If any class, workshop or session is rearranged by The Pregnancy Emporium, these will be rescheduled and honoured so the client has the correct number of sessions paid for.
The Pregnancy Emporium reserves the right to update and amend these terms and conditions to suit the business needs and the needs of its staff and customers. We appreciate your cooperation with these and look forward to supporting your preconception, pregnancy, postnatal or women’s wellness journey.
Gift vouchers
All paid for gift vouchers have a 6 month expiry dateand must be used within this time. In the event of a competition or promotional event- vouchers will be given a 3 month expiry date. We respectfully ask that all vouchers are used within the time frame allocated as extensions will not begiven. In the event of an unforeseen circumstance, this will be dealt with at the discretion of the management but cannot be guaranteed. With current closures as per government guidance, gift vouchers will be extended with the amount of time we have been forced to close for fairness of all clients.
The Pregnancy Emporium reserves the right to refuse treatment for vouchers that have gone pasttheir date of expiry.
